Origami Opening

The field of dynamic facades as sustainable building design element is in its infancy in the 21st century. We experimented with various origamic form, as its monolithic and minimal Wastage in term of material used. The element acts as shading device, which unfurls based on sun light ingress detected by light sensor and human distance processed using R sensor which closes up and opens the shade.
